Firearm Gunsmithing: The 1911 disconnector and sear

In this video, I will show you how to reassemble the disconnector and sear on a 1911 pistol. This is a critical part of gunsmithing, and it is important to know how to do it correctly.

The disconnector is a small part that prevents the gun from firing more than once per trigger pull. The sear is the part that holds the hammer back until the trigger is pulled.
