Enter the Flow of Life

"Non-resistance" is the way Westerners attempt to give name to the monk-like ability to simply be. Western minds commonly interpret non-resistance to be a result of radical acceptance -- failing to understand that radical acceptance alone produces moral stagnation.

In order for a Buddhist monk, for example, to achieve the state of one-with-the-flow-of-life, they are raised through many years of punishing experience. The "radical acceptance" we see is an end result of radical self-discipline, radical purging of the demons, so on and so forth.

The amount of effort that it will take any of us to achieve a flow-state in regards to life itself is difficult for our present selves to imagine; but an amount of effort it surely is.
