THE CONSTITUTION HAS NO PANDEMIC EXCEPTION

The American Constitution was written for hard times, not the good times. It was drafted in the midst of epidemic outbreaks. The founders were well aware of epidemics—they made no provision for epidemics to deduct rights from the Constitution. (April 19, 2023)
