Much of the S60R / V70R was developed and engineered prior to the acquisition by Ford, which made the wagon much more desirable to Euro driving enthusiasts. With a 2.5L 5-cylinder turbocharged engine under the hood, AWD, Brembo brakes, and adjustable Ohlins suspension, the second generation V70R is an underrated sleeper with more potential to enlighten your family with adrenaline than the countless number of over-stylized crossovers that would follow in the years to come.
