Pro-choice advocates applaud FDA approval of over-the-counter birth control at DC presser

Several members of congress and pro-choice advocates gathered for a press conference in Washington D.C. on Thursday to celebrate the FDA Advisory Committee’s unanimous vote recommending the FDA approval of over-the-counter birth control. Health Care Policy Expert Dana Singiser lauded the committee for “following the scientific evidence” and recognizing the “overwhelming evidence” to approve the oral medication.
