Making Vows: Leviticus 27

Sometimes when we offer ourselves in service to the Lord in some way, we become restless, and unsatisfied in the service we had commited ourselves to, and we change our minds, and back out of the task. God knew this about our fallen human nature, and in this chapter, allowed for our fickleness, in His rules for redemption of vows.
