Backyard visitors

We enjoy having these hummingbirds visit our backyard on their annual migration from Mexico. These little birds are extremely inquisitive and territorial when more than one visits the feeders. They typically arrive in the Arkansas River Valley in early April and usually migrate south in mid to late September. They are resilient little birds!
