US officials hide real defense spending numbers - report

As an American foreign policy think-tank reported, the actual numbers of funding the country's war machine are much higher than what is announced for public consumption.

According to the paper, the Pentagon's official ‘top line’ for the 2024 budget was highlighted as being under $850 billion. However, the real cost of Washington's expenses for next year is said to be closer to $1.5 trillion.
