The motet, “Jesu, meine Freude” (Jesus, my joy) is structured in eleven sections.
In this collection, they have been grouped into 4 parts.
Part Four, section 1 begins with a contrapuntal setting of the themes from the hymn. The sec-ond section is a four-part setting of the hymn.
This is an arrangement by Richard Byrnes for 4 Clarinets, & Bass Clarinet.
