Welcoming the Gentry in Rio

Imagine that you were recently crowned King or Queen of a european country, you are unprepared to occupy this position but you're occupying it nonetheless because your older brother, who was properly prepared, DIED OF SMALLPOX.
As if all this weren't enough, in a country not far from your own, the King and Queen, as well as several other members of the clergy and nobility have been killed. And on top of that, a soldier has come to power, ordered his troops to invade the country next to yours and threatens to invade your own. Unless of course you break all diplomatic relations with a country which your country depends on economically and without which you wouldn't be anywhere near the throne right now. In fact without this country's help, your country would now be in the hands of foreigners.
Believe or not, this is actually a rather unique part of the history of Rio and Brazil and it is precisely what I'm going to talk about in this very video. So if you're curious to know who are the people and countries I mentioned in the intro, watch the video and I'll tell you all about it.
