RESIDENT EVIL SURVIVOR

Resident Evil Survivor (also known as Gun Survivor, subtitle of the Japanese version) was the first game in the series recognized for pushing the limits of the classic formula of the first Resident Evil games. The idea was daring and promising: to recreate survival horror, now in first person, four years after the style was consolidated in video games by the release of the first title.

The pre-rendered environments were dropped to make way for the full 3D environment; the static camera was replaced by a view of the game literally within the character, with only the gun sights on the screen, with the aim of providing the player with a more immersive and realistic experience.

Several other changes regarding the system and gameplay mechanics also took place. The Handgun, the game's basic weapon, has unlimited ammo, as well as space in your inventory to store objects, healing items, weapons and ammo, in addition to other features unique to this chapter.

In the plot, Ark Thompson wakes up in an unknown location after a helicopter crash, with no memory of anything, not even his own identity. Moments later, the man is attacked by zombies while examining the body of a mysterious man dressed in white near the crash site. Fighting for survival and answers, Ark will have to face hordes of horrendous and aggressive monsters, and solve riddles involving both himself and the secret behind the viral incident.
