Appomattox alternate delegates elected to House District 56 convention.

The Appomattox Republican Committee corrected a significant error made at Mass Meeting (March 31st) when only Delegates were elected (no Alternate Delegates) to represent Appomattox at the House District 56 convention to be held on May 20th, 2023. The Committee held this meeting on April 27th and elected the Alternate Delegates.
The error at the Mass meeting caused the entire Appomattox Republican committee and extended community to be effectively shut out from voting (called “slating”). The disenfranchisement of the very people who have worked long and hard to get republicans elected was short-sighted at best. Now, thanks to the Republican Committee, this error has been corrected.
