The China Syndrome

The China Syndrome was coined in 1917 and was a theory. They suggested that if a nuclear reactor would blow it was cause a tunnel from the US to China. In 1979 Hollywood made a movie called, you guessed it, The China Syndrome. The events at Chernobyl was the perfect set up to prove the theory.

Is there a tunnel in Chernobyl? Probably not but it's fun the think about.
