Lion dad tries to ditch his kids

Lions are well-known as the king of the jungle, but they are also remarkable parents. Both male and female lions play an active role in raising their offspring, with females typically doing most of the hunting and males providing protection and patrolling the territory.

After a gestation period of about four months, a lioness gives birth to a litter of cubs. These tiny cubs are completely helpless at first, relying on their mother's milk for nourishment and their parents' protection for survival.

Meanwhile, the male lion will patrol the territory, keeping an eye out for potential threats and defending the pride against rival males.

Both parents also play a role in teaching their cubs important skills, such as hunting and socializing with other lions. For example, lion cubs will often engage in play fighting with each other, honing their coordination and strength.
