Top news right now: Law enforcement has seized over $10 million worth of drugs, including enough fentanyl to kill 2.75 million people, on the southern border over the weekend. Experts believe that the drugs caught represent only a small fraction of what ultimately makes it into the country. The surge in seizures comes as hundreds of thousands of immigrants gather in Mexico to prepare to flood into the United States, with nearly 700,000 migrants currently waiting to enter. As Title 42, a public health order that allows law enforcement to quickly deport border crossers, has expired, officials expect illegal border crossings to surge from roughly 3,000 a day to 15,000 a day in the coming weeks.
