HAND OF DEATH 1962 - Medical research scientist Alex Marsh has created a serum combining a hypnotic drug and nerve gas. Unfortunately he spills the formula, breathing the vapors and getting some on his hands causing the drug to transforms him into a monster who's very touch is deadly.
This film was considered unavailable for about two decades after 1980 as no copies were retained by Fox who let their rights to it lapse. Of note is that the monster's makeup was inspired by the Thing of the Fantastic Four comic magazine of 1961. The makeup team wanted to see if they could successfully create such a visage, and they did so.
