1,500 DoD personnel were recently sent down to the US southern border in early May of 2023, as per Commander-in-Chief Joe Biden's order. US military personnel are barred from participating in civilian law enforcement according to the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, except when expressly authorized by law. In other words, only during emergencies. What are all those soldiers really doing down there? Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County, Arizona explains.
