Canada: Duty-free store owners hold a news conference in Ottawa – May 10, 2023

Industry representatives for Canada’s land border duty free shops speak with reporters on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The news conference comes as the United States prepares to lift its COVID-19 vaccination requirements for international travellers at the border. Taking part in the news conference are Barbara Barrett, executive director of the Frontier Duty Free Association, as well as duty free store owners Tania Lee (president of the association) and Philippe Bachand (association board member).
