Our friend, moderator and brother Hippie John unexpectedly left this world last week.

This came out of nowhere. I don't really have a lot of words to say about it right now

Instead, I'm going to play his three favorite Jerry Garcia Band Shows and make it the celebration he would have wanted it to be

I will miss our random phone calls shooting the shit every few weeks for a few hours and his presence that was always kind. John was one of the first subscribers to this channel and was the first moderator added to the channel

We will miss you brother.

Comments: Levels are extremely hot on this recording and there is minor clipping at times. Periodically a loud metallic swooshing sound can be heard which is the reverb unit in one of the onstage amplifiers going off after being bumped into or kicked?
