Tragic Story of Timothy Treadwell with Grizzly Bears

This is a retelling of the story of Timothy Treadwell, also known as Timothy Dexter, who developed a new addiction to bears after overcoming a drug addiction. He would travel to Katmai National Park in Alaska and engage with the bears, recording himself on a video camera. He believed he could communicate with the bears and gain their trust, leading him to make mistakes like not carrying bear spray and causing the bears to become habituated to humans. Timothy and his girlfriend, Amy Huguenard, were mauled and eaten alive by a grizzly bear in 2003. This was a result of Timothy's mistakes and his allowing Amy to take the same risks, and it was all recorded on audio during the attack, but has never been released to the public due to its graphic nature.
