On March 1, 1994, Kurt and Nirvana were in Munich, Germany. This was their last public performance and Kurt had a bad case of bronchitis and a laryngitis. Keep that in mind when we move on to March 3rd. Rosemary Carroll, Kurt and Courtney’s entertainment lawyer, out of his will. After his death, his best friend Dylan Carlson, would say that he knew that they were having marital problems, but that Kurt never came out and directly told him that he wanted a divorce.

Rosemary Carroll also told Tom Grant that weeks before Kurt’s death, Courtney had called her saying that Kurt was leaving her. She said that she needed Rosemary to find the meanest, most vicious divorce lawyer that she could find. She also inquired about if there was any way she could avoid their prenup.
