London's Metropolitan Police: King Charles coronation was largest security operation ever

Mark Rowley, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service in London, said King Charles III’s coronation on May 6 was the largest security operation the police force has ever carried out. Rowley said in a press release Tuesday that 11,500 officers, staff, and volunteers participated in policing the event alongside more than 6,500 military ceremonial troops.
