On May 9, 2023, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the grave of 23 Soviet soldiers buried at the Hörnli cemetery in the Swiss city of Basel.

🕯 Representatives of the Russian Embassy in Bern, the Russian Permanent Mission to the UN Office and the Russian Consulate General in Geneva, as well as the Embassies of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in Switzerland gathered to honor the memory of the fallen Red Army soldiers.
