"Don't know who's right, who's wrong, but it really does't matter when you're in the gutter." This may be Tina Turner's most political song.
Written by Irish songwriter Paul Brady, it was first performed by Tina on the Tonight Show on New Years Eve 1982. Brady wrote it about conditions in Dublin at the time.
The song was later included in Tina's all-time best-selling album Private Dancer in 1984. Although it remains little known today, it is very relevant to the crazy world we are living in!
