While doing the ministry you're also being trained; we are being taught. And so, it was a good system George Verwer started. It all started with what you call ‘short term’. You came for two months, some even just came for some weeks, and some came for a year, some for two years. I came for 6 months – that was in 1966 – and I just retired last year. That was a long 6 months of some 50 plus years! So, that's how a lot of us did our short term. And, in the process the work grew from Europe; it came to India, went to Turkey and then the OM ships developed. Now we are on to our fifth ship. We have two ships right now. Three have been scrapped (one of them hit the rocks), and the last two we have is one is called Logos Hoop (it's somewhere in Dubai undergoing dry dock repairs and ministering in that area. The other ship is called Doulos Hope and that's right now in Singapore and will be launched this week or next in the ministry. And the Doulos Hope will probably serve in Asian countries and the Logos Hope will probably serve in this part of the world, Latin America. Africa and all that.
