Trump's Lawyers Request Congressional Action on Mar-a-Lago Documents Investigation

(S213) President Trump’s lawyers have sent a remarkable letter to the Congressional Gang of Eight.

By offering a first in-depth account of events that led to the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago raid on August 8th of last year, Trump’s lawyers are trying to get Congress to intervene in the Mar-a-Lago documents investigation, even going so far as to ask Congress to shut down the special counsel investigation of Trump.

The letter details how time and again, Biden’s DOJ tricked Trump’s team into thinking they were working together to resolve issues surrounding the Mar-a-Lago documents in an amicable way.

In actual fact, Biden’s DOJ was only pretending to cooperate. What they were really trying to do was to get Trump to do something that they could charge him with.
