Jesus rebuked these two disciples who knew the ancient scriptures. He pointed out to them every place where he was to be found in the Law of Moses (Torah - First 5 books of the Old Testament), the Prophets, and the Psalms. In other words, where Jesus was foretold in all of the Old Testament (Tanakh).
