This is my sturdy, strong, beefy, diy, bunk bed design; it can easily support an adult sleeping on it. This was all made with construction grade lumber available from your local home center. This is a great diy build that you could do with moderate woodworking experience. The bed will be used every night for years to come and it's something you too can build for your home. The diy bunk bed can be disassembled if you need to move rooms or houses and the rails make it very safe.
