Massive Farmhouse Trestle Table Build | Farmhouse Designs

This is a detailed explanation of my Massive Farmhouse Trestle Table Build. I go into depth and show the steps to build your own farmhouse table including the classic farmhouse curved foot base. This design is great if you want to have benches or chairs that will slide all the way in underneath the table and not be obstructed by table legs. Almost all of the joinery on this table is the classic mortise and tenon. In order to achieve the rough farmhouse look, the top of the table was given a varied but still smooth surface so it can be cleaned. In this video I also demonstrate how to recreate the farmhouse look on wood that is already cut and sanded smooth.
