Replacing the starter on a 2005 Honda Accord LX
Friend mother owned this car and said the starter would just keep on spinning for a couple seconds. I did not witness it.

Battery tested good. I advised it could be the gear on the starter and/or the flex plate teeth could be worn.
He bought the starter and just wanted it to be replaced.

It also had a check engine light on for a diagnostic trouble code, P0171 LEAN condition.
The intake tube had a big crack. That is what caused the engine light to come on.

A week later I replaced it with a new intake tube that friend bought.
