Replacing worn front brake pads with aftermarket pads and resurfacing the front rotors on a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix

The caliper bracket has to be torqued at 133 ft. lbs., because the spindle is aluminum.
I did not use the brake hardware because it did not need it. Most of the time from my experience working at the dealer, the aftermarket hardware doe not fit correctly.
By not replacing the old hardware, it does not affect the brake pads or braking. You can replace it if you want to for your peace of mind.
