2004 Ford Expedition, Fuel Pump Replacement
Friend asked me to replace the trans pan gasket but immediately smelled gas around the vehicle.
Before I the repair I inspected around the gas tank and saw location of gas dripping.

Also found a dead rat in the location of the fuel pump. Removed the carcass and checked if the fuel lines have any bite marks. But there were none.
We believe the fuel pump housing has a small crack.

Replaced the cracked fuel pump assembly with a new assembly and it fixed the problem.
