Replacing the EVAP canister purge valve, 2005 Chevy Suburban. Check engine light code P0496. Tested valve, it tested bad because it would not stay in the closed position. Fuel vapor from the gas tank is going to the engine. Giving the engine a RICH condition and the computer is trying to compensate for it by LEANING the fuel.
