Dead Rising 2 (2010) was developed by Blue Castle Games and published by Capcom

Dead Rising 2 is the Epitome of the zombie game genre. It has the best to offer in many aspects, such as: replayability, multiplayer that is fun, a cheesy/campy feel, humor, great gameplay, good visuals, great sound and atmosphere, and lots of lewd jokes. Unlike the first Dead Rising, the protagonist, Chuck Greene, is a more likeable character one could sympathize with, especially in relation to his daughter and the troubles she faces. The big story behind it all is corporate greed, personified by Big Pharma, which I rail against in relation to their abuses during Covid and Covid's aftermath (post-jab) during my commentary. They will kill you to make a quick buck, it's that simple. In terms of wokeness, there is none. This game is about as non-woke as you can get and it's great. It's nice to play a game that doesn't have some token trans or gay character that's only purpose is to placate and kowtow to that crowd. It's also nice to play a game that doesn't have Marxist ideals woven into it, unlike Far Cry 6 (which has both). Some people may not like the timer, but we have seen what happens without it..... The franchise died. The timer makes the game more tense and keeps you on track. Besides, if you just want to kill zombies you can do just that. You don't have to pay attention to the timer.
Overall, I'd say this game is the best in the franchise and the best zombie game in existence, full stop. I cannot recommend everyone plays this game enough.
