Coeur d'Alene School officials target 14yo student with hate crime and expulsion for sharing opinion

Anthony is 14 years old and believes that students who wear costumes in class are a distraction. For sharing his opinion while at school, Anthony was threatened by school administrators with expulsion and possible charges filed for a hate crime. Listen to Anthony and his mother explain how in the course of one day, he went from wanting to write a critical essay in first period class, to being confronted by multiple school officials throughout the day and finally threatened with being expelled from school, having charges filed against him for a hate crime. All for simply voicing his opinion that students shouldn't be allowed to wear distracting animal costumes in class.
