Brian is back to count down his top 12 favorite songs from one of his all time favorite bands, Sweden's phenomenal rockers Smash Into Pieces. This band has literally dozens of incredible songs, and it was extremely difficult for Brian to come up with his favorites, but here it is! You may well remember an Artist Spotlight we previously did on the band, and they have shown up in numerous "Favorite" countdown videos we've done!

Comprised of lead singer Chris Adam Hedmen Sorbye, guitarists Benjamin Jennebo and Per Bergquist, and the legend himself, the Apocalypse DJ on drums, S @SmashIntoPiecesofficial has an infectious and unique sound that leaves you demanding more! As demonstrated by this list, they are able to blend multiple musical genres, and no two of their songs sound the same.

Smash Into Pieces' story begins in 2008 when Benjamin Jennebo (guitar) and Isak Snow (drums) met under their father's rehearsal space to jam together. Later that year, Chris Adam Hedman Sörbye (vocals), Viktor Vidlund (bass) and Per Bergquist (guitar) were added to the band. They wrote and scratched their first songs in the garage. The band played in local pubs that were nearby.

In April 2013, the band signed a record deal with Gain/ Sony Music and subsequently released their debut album "Unbreakable". The album reached third place on the Swedish Rock chart, and brought media attention through television interviews, radio time and a summer of festivals. In November of that year, they performed live for the first time in Japan , leading to a limited edition release of the album Unbreakable through King Records .

In 2015, they released their second album "The Apocalypse DJ" with a second place on the Swedish Rock chart and several top ten positions on other various Scandinavian album charts. Disaster Highway .

The band's big breakthrough came in 2017 with the third album release, Rise And Shine . In this album, "The Apocalypse DJ" was introduced to the band as drummer /DJ, replacing Isak Snow and Viktor Vidlund.

With the new update in the band, more electro /EDM elements were added to the music, giving the album a new sound.
