Evil Dead Rise Movie Review

Beth (Lily Sullivan) who has been estranged from her sister Ellie (Alyssa Sutherland) decides to visit her sister to try and mend their relationship. When Beth arrives at Ellie's apartment, she finds out that she and her three kids (Danny, Bridget & Kassie) are about to be kicked to the curb because the building has been condemned. While there, an earthquake happens and Danny discovers a giant crack in the basement area of the building and while exploring it, finds a creepy book and some other items with it and thinks its a good idea to bring it back to the apartment. Danny and Bridget inadvertently open the book while examining it and Danny, whose curiosity is never satisfied continues meddling with the book and other items and ultimately release evil spirits with the ability to take over human bodies. Can the group survive an ancient, evil forces they have no knowledge of or will they fall victim to the darkness they are now facing?
