Ruger PC Carbine Model 19122 - Part 1

I bought a Ruger PC Carbine Model 19122 from Scheels in Des Moines. It took one week to get it to the Scheels here in Lincoln. I think this is a great home defense firearm, but I primarily bought it to shoot in IDPA occasionally. It is really a pleasure to shoot!

This rifle is a PCC - pistol chambered carbine - in 9mm. It shoots the exact same ammo as in my 9mm pistols. A cool feature of the PC Carbine is that it is a takedown - press a lever and twist the barrel/fore end and it breaks down into 2 parts. I have a bag 24" long and 9" wide that it fits very nicely in. It weighs 7 lbs and has last round, bolt hold open - a great feature IMO. I think its a great rifle for under a grand.

So I made a series of short videos of getting the rifle set up, zeroed in and a little shooting. I made these for me, not you, but feel free to enjoy them with me.
