SPINNING JENNY, Awesome Sisters Rock Band Behind "February Moon" and "Nostalgia" - Artist Spotlight

In today's Artist Spotlight, Brian shines the spotlight on an incredible band we've had the pleasure to get to know, SPINNING JENNY! Hailing from just west of Pittsburgh, Spinning Jenny is comprised of three Balzano sisters: lead vocalist and guitarist Julia (Ibinson), drummer Talia, and bassist Angelina. They are also joined on guitar by their father John.

With a sound that fans of bands like THE WARNING and PLUSH will love, Spinning Jenny knows how to rock with the best of them! To date, they've released three independent albums, with the latest being 2021's "Strangers". You can hear them at their best on their fantastic original songs such as "Far Side of 21", "The Edge", "Nostalgia", and Brian's favorite "February Moon". In addition, they perform one of the greatest covers of The Rolling Stones epic "Paint It Black" we've ever heard!
