In today's Artist Spotlight, Brian shines the light on a fantastic hard rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah, CITIZEN SOLDIER!

With a rocking sound reminiscent of ADELITAS WAY and THE VEER UNION, combined with songs dealing with difficult subjects but with a positive outlook, Citizen Soldier is forging a unique path in rock. They are signed to Universal Republic, and have to date released five albums, the latest being "This Is Your Sign Part 2", which just released this April.

Led by the incredible vocals of front man Jake Segura, Citizen Soldier is also comprised of guitarists Matt Duffney and Kooper Hanosky, bassist Wonitta, and drummer Kyle Persell. They have a litany of amazing songs like "Face To Face", "Hallelujah, I'm Not Dead", "Pretend My Pain Away", and Brian's favorite "I'm Not Okay"!
