Galatians 5:19-21 describes the contrast between the works of the flesh. In these verses, the Apostle Paul warns the Galatians that those who practice the works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The works of the flesh are described in verses 19-21 as follows:

"Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these."

These works of the flesh are the sinful actions that a person might engage in if they are not led by the Spirit of God.

The warning in these verses is that those who practice these works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God. This means that if a person habitually engages in these kinds of sinful actions, they will not be able to enter into the eternal life that God has prepared for His people.

However, the good news is that through faith in Jesus Christ, we can be saved and receive the inheritance that God has promised to His people. As Paul writes in Galatians 3:29, "And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise."

Therefore, while God warns us about the consequences of practicing the works of the flesh, Jesus provides us with a way to overcome them and receive the inheritance that God has promised to His people. Through faith in Him, we can live a life that is led by the Spirit, and produce the fruit of the Spirit.

Now I know the fleshy deeds God warns of on the next map will be fruits of the spirit! 🤍
