1. Start by getting the grill as hot as possible. Mine can get up to 600°F but 700°F would be better if yours can do it.

2. Once the grill reaches temperature, place down your already seasoned steaks onto the hottest part of the grill.

3. Close the lid of your grill and let the steaks cook for 3-5 minutes.

4. Flip the steaks to the opposite side and let them cook for 3-5 minutes.

5. Flip the steaks again and move them to the cool part of the grill. Reduce the temperature to around 300°F and let them slow cook for another 5-10 minutes. How long you let them cook depends on how you like your steaks cooked.

6. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5-10 minutes while covered in some foil or a lid.

7. Serve your steaks. Try some compound steak butter for even more flavor.

Steak Grilling Tips

1. Don't cut into the steaks or they'll lose their juices. If you need to check the temperature, use a meat thermometer on the the top side of the steak. Then don't turn it over again or juices will run out of the puncture.

2. Always season the steak before placing it onto the grill.

3. Let the steak rest before serving and the meat will get even more tender.
