Dolly Sods | Winter Backpacking with Restless Outdoors and Hikergy 16
Join Restless Outdoors, Hikergy 16 and myself as we make an impromptu trip to Dolly Sods, West Virginia for some wet feet winter backpacking.
The original plan was to just go to Wildcat Hollow in Ohio, but with the rain coming we changed our plans at the last minute. With little to no planning we decided to wing it and hit the Sods for two nights and three days and hope for the best.
We were wanting to visit the Bear Rocks area, but due to winter road closures we were forced to change our route and make the best of it. Lions Head and camping in the pines was the highlight of the trip!
Be sure to check out Restless Outdoors and Hikergy 16’s vids of this trip!
