13 Year Old Attempts His First 50 Mile Ultra Run on the Sheltowee Trace

The Big Turtle Trail Run is an out and back course that runs from beautiful downtown Morehead to the northern terminus of the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail and back put on by Next Opportunity Events.

Originally I was planning to just be a pacer for Terry Boardman for the final 10 miles of this 50 mile ultra but after he and many others dropped from the race due to heat it was just William, Terry's son, and I for the final 15 miles. Will we make it!?
