Ever wonder how maple syrup is made? Check out how we make this liquid gold on our Ohio Farm using the latest technology and some good old fashion ingenuity. We use a vacuum system and over five miles of tubing with nearly 1,000 taps to collect the sap. We then run it through a reverse osmosis system to remove unwanted water and boil it down on a 2’x10’ drop flu evaporator that runs on wood and/or used motor oil.
