I recently was able to spend a little time with One of my Brothers, my sons and nephew in Wayne national Forest Ohio at Lamping Homestead recreation area for some hammock and tent camping.
We did a little bush crafting, some cooking over the fire, a little hiking and lots of relaxing in a beautiful hemlock Grove next to a 2 acre pond.
This primitive Campground at Lamping Homestead boasts 10 beautiful campsites as well as one shelter area with picnic tables and a grill. There is also a 3.5 mile hiking loop called the Lamping Trail that connects to the North country Trail and the Buckeye Trail with a shorter 1.8 mile loop option as well.
