How We Plant Sweet Corn on our Farm | JD 7000 Planter and JD 3020 Tractor

Sweet corn is where it all began for us on our produce operation nearly 30 years ago! Today we planted our first of 10 plantings for the 2020 season. This was a 6 acre planting of our 35 acres of sweet corn that we grow for over a dozen Farmers' Markets and roadside stands that we set up at during the summer. We use a 1964 John Deere 3020 and a 1979 John Deere 7000 four row planter.
