Hiking on the Simon Kenton Trail - Bellefontaine to Springfield - Surprise Visitor?

A 24 mile training hike with a full pack on a segment of the Simon Kenton Trail from my hometown of Bellefontaine, Ohio to Springfield, Ohio. I ended up not quite making it to Buck Creek State Park, but I was yellow blazed there by a surprise visitor for dinner over the fire!
