Kayaking in a FLASH FLOOD! 18,000 cfs at 15 ft on the Little Miami River Ohio

I was awaken at 3 am with rising water coming into my camp. Instead of calling it quits I entered the swollen river for an exciting day! Started the trip off the day prior with water levels at 800 cfs at 6 ft.
