Ranking My 3 Favorite Wrestling Belt Designs | WCW | WWF | WWE | ECW

I've been a longtime wrestling fan, watching WWF, WCW, GLOW, ECW, and more. As such, there are certain championship bets that I see as timeless classics. As such, what are my 3 favorite championship belts from any organization? Let's find out.

Number 3
WWF Intercontinental Championship

As a child of the '80s, I love the belts and wrestlers from this era. The old Intercontinental Championship belt from the 80's and early 90's is a terrific belt design. Often known as the "Workers Championship", some of the best wrestlers of all time carries this belt. I remember Tito Santana, Macho Man, Mr Perfect, and if course the greatest Intercontinental champion of all time, the Honkeytonk Man, all carried this belt.

Number 2
WWF Winged Eagle Heavyweight Championship

This is the definitive WWF/WWE title as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps the most famous title Hulk Hogan ever wore, the winged eagle is beautiful from the main plate to side plates. Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, and more all carried this belt as the gold standard of excellence. This is the best belt the WWF ever created, but there's 1 more belt that I love even more.

Number 1
WCW Big Gold Heavyweight Championship

My favorite championship belts design of all time has to be Big Gold. The first time I ever saw it was when Bobby the Brain Heenan showed it as the "Real World Championship", during the time when Ric Flair was coming to the WWF. It's such an amazing design that the WWE used this design as the basis for their own early 2000s World Heavyweight Championship. The greatest wrestlers of all time have worn this belt including Flair, Hogan, DDP, Sting, and more. This is an elegant design, it's huge, and it's my favorite belt design ever.
